Hey there!
To be honest, I sort of stumbled into graphic design on my journey through community college. Inspired by my mother's work as a designer (and maybe looking for a little familial competition), I decided to try my hand in the graphic design world, and I've been hooked ever since.
As a student at Saddleback Community College in Orange County, CA, I progressed towards a degree in graphic design through foundational classes about the design process, brand identity, typography, and graphics creation. I also studied in the more hands-on artistic fields of 2D, 3D, and costume design. In 2021, I transferred to San Diego State University to pursue my upper-division coursework, where I spent two years refining my skills in typography, design for social media, and brand identity development, as well as exploring new territories such as UI/UX and packaging design. Through the SDSU Design Internship Course, I worked as an Organic Social Design Intern at Power Digital Marketing creating social media graphics for a variety of clients including Rubio's, Naturally San Diego, SmartStop, and Vetericyn. During my time in the SDSU Design Studio course, I was fortunate enough to have my design solutions for the 2023/24 SDSU Arts Alive Discovery Series chosen by the faculty and staff. In May 2023, I graduated Summa Cum Laude with my Bachelor of Arts, Emphasis in Graphic Design. Currently, I'm spending my time as a Design Freelancer for Mythical Entertainment.
I pride myself on being a detail-oriented and well-organized designer. I am a team player who thrives on collaboration and constructive criticism. I am always up for a good challenge and consistently aim for the highest degree of achievement (I am an Enneagram Type 3, after all).
When I'm not designing, you might find me performing in a musical, baking the most difficult thing I could find on Pinterest, or hanging out with my two cats.
